If you're looking for a furry friend to add to your family, October is the month.

That's because Sarasota, Fla., Subaru is teaming up with Satchel's Last Resort for a month-long pet adoption campaign.

From Oct.

1 through Oct.

31, Sarasota Subaru will donate $100 to Satchel's Last Resort for every pet adopted in that month at the local shelter, WTSP reports.

In return, Satchel's Last Resort will spotlight "the senior, physically challenged, and different dogs lovingly called the 'Underdogs,'" who are often the last to be adopted, according to a press release.
